 In order to further promote the research and development progress of the second generation of China float glass and achieve the goal of reaching the world leading level of glass quality in China, on the morning of November 4, the China Building Materials Federation held a demonstration meeting on the research and development achievements of the second generation China float glass in Shanghai.

Qiao Longde, Chairman of China Building Material Federation and other industry leaders, vice president of China Building Material Co., Ltd. and Peng Shou, Chairman of China Building Material International Engineering Group Co., Ltd. are leaders and experts of enterprises and research institutes, as well as some members of the second generation leading group of China float glass technology and equipment research and development, and the glass quality research team of China Building Material International Engineering Group Co., Ltd. With the elaborate organization of the China Building Materials Federation and the Leading Group of the "Two Second Generation" Technical Equipment Research and Development and the joint efforts of various R&D units, the research and development work of the "Two Second Generation" technical equipment has achieved fruitful results. In the second generation of China float glass, great progress has been made in the research and development of glass sheet quality, which is far from the leading level of foreign countries. At present, the quality of glass sheet reaching the world leading level is still the focus of the research and development of the second generation of China float glass technology and equipment.
